The health condition of Local Government, Rural Development and Cooperatives Minister Abdul Moyeen Khan, who is undergoing treatment at Evercare Hospital, has shown some improvement.

However, he remains under close observation at the hospital, Personal Assistant to the minister Bahauddin Milton told BSS today.

He stated that Dr. Abdul Moyeen Khan is being treated under close observation due to a lung infection. His condition is currently improving and he continues to receive care under the supervision of a team of specialist doctors.

Meanwhile, the medical team has requested that people refrain from crowding the hospital to visit the minister, given his current health status.

He was admitted to the Evercare Hospital on the night of October 21, following severe respiratory distress and chest pain.

He is currently receiving treatment under the supervision of a medical team led by specialist physicians Atiqur Rahman, Ziaul Hasan and Shahabuddin Talukdar of the Evercare Hospital.
