Dr Nurunnahar Chowdhury, member (secretary) of the Planning Commission, has been appointed as the new secretary of the Ministry of Civil Aviation and Tourism.

The Ministry of Public Administration issued a notification today announcing her transfer and appointment to the post.

The order, issued in the public interest, will come into immediate effect.
